Nutan Minerals

Nutan Minerals is situated on Station Road, right where the Vanar Jamala Road comes in. We are in Chhota Udepur, which is a place we’ve called home for a long time. Being so close to the station means there is always something happening. You can hear the trains and see people rushing back and forth all day. Our place isn't fancy at all. It is just a sturdy building where we process things and keep our supplies. We focus on minerals and that takes up most of our time. I usually get here before the sun is fully up to get a head start on the paperwork, though I’m not very good at it. The dust from the road can be a bit much, especially in the dry months, but we just keep the doors shut when we can. We have a small team of local guys who help out with the heavy lifting and the machinery. We don't have any big corporate talk here. If you come by, you’ll probably find me in my work clothes or talking to one of the drivers. We’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times after the monsoon, so the place looks a bit patched up, but it serves its purpose. It is just a straightforward local business trying to do honest work on Station Road. We don't ask for much else besides a steady day.
