You can find us over at Plot No. 922/18 in the G I D C Estate in Makarpura. We’re pretty close to Purohit Restaurant, which is lucky for us because the food there is decent when we don’t have time to pack a lunch. Pritesh Trading Co is right near us too. At Nilesh Steel Traders, things stay pretty busy with the constant arrivals of trucks. The yard gets dusty and there’s always someone shouting over the noise of the machinery. It’s not the quietest place to spend your day, but it’s where we work. We handle a lot of metal, so you have to be careful where you step and always keep your gloves on. The sun hits the metal and makes everything bright in the afternoon, which can be a bit much for the eyes. We spend a lot of time writing out lists and checking off what’s gone out. It’s a lot of repetitive movement, loading and unloading, but it keeps the bills paid. We don't really have a big staff, just a few guys who know how to handle the heavy stuff. Sometimes we stand out by the gate just to catch a breeze when the air in the estate gets too still. It’s just a regular local business doing its thing in Makarpura. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just show up, do the work, and go home for the day once the last truck has been sent off.
