Natural Marble & Granites

Our place is on Gotri Road. If you know where the GEB Sub Station is, we are right near there, just across from the Kalpavruksh building. It’s easy to find once you’re in the area. We have been selling marble and granite here for a while. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving these big heavy stones around without breaking them. We spend our days showing people the different patterns and colors that come in. No two pieces are ever really the same, which is the interesting part of the job. We aren't salesman types; we just show you what we have in stock and tell you the price. Most of our time is spent in the yard. It gets pretty hot out there under the sun, but that’s just part of it. We keep a small office for the paperwork, but it’s mostly just for keeping the receipts dry. The road out front gets busy with commuters, but we have enough space for a truck to pull in. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays. We just lean the slabs against the walls so you can see them clearly. It’s a basic operation. We wake up, open the gates, and see who stops by. We’ve made a lot of friends in the neighborhood this way over the years. It’s a steady life and we're happy with how things are. Nothing too fancy, just good stones for local people.
