Misty Dance Academy

We are over in Karelibaug at Nehru Nagar E 16. It is a dance space where we spend most of our afternoons and evenings. We have big mirrors and a floor that we try to keep clean for the students. It is not a fancy studio like you see on TV. It is just a place for people who want to learn how to move. We teach different styles depending on who is teaching that day. Sometimes it is folk dance and other times it is more modern. The music is usually playing loud enough that you can hear it from the street. We get a mix of people coming in. Some are kids whose parents want them to learn something new and others are adults just looking to stay active. It’s a bit of a workout for everyone. We have some benches for people to wait on and a lot of water bottles lying around. The neighborhood is friendly and we have been at this address for a good number of years. We don't do much advertising. People usually see us when they are walking through Nehru Nagar and decide to pop in and ask about classes. It is a fun place to be even when we are tired. We just like dancing and helping others get the steps right. We focus on the practice and let the results speak for themselves.
