Vrund Technoplast is over at Plot No. 910-4c in the GIDC Ind. Estate. If you’ve ever been to this side of the industrial area, you know it’s mostly just rows of sheds and the sound of machines. Our place is where we handle all the plastic work. We’ve got these molding machines that run pretty much all day. It’s a bit hot inside because of the heaters, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the plastic feeds right and the parts come out without any flaws. Sometimes the colors aren't exactly right and we have to start over, which is a pain, but that’s part of it. We make all sorts of plastic things. Most people don’t realize how much work goes into a simple plastic piece until they see the machines running. We’ve been here for a few years and the neighbors at 910-4b are good people. We share some space and sometimes a bit of advice. Our office is just a desk in the corner with a lot of samples piled up on it. It’s messy, but we know where everything is. We just focus on getting the crates filled and the trucks loaded so we can go home on time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The plastic smells a bit strong when the machines first start up in the morning.
