Operating out of Plot No. A-1-835 836 in the Gidc Ind. Estate is mostly about keeping up with the schedule. It’s a big enough space for what we do, and we’ve gotten used to the way the traffic moves around these blocks throughout the day. We handle a lot of synthetic materials here, so there is always a specific smell in the air when you walk through the doors in the morning. It’s not bad, just part of the job we do. Most of our time at Climax Synthetics is spent checking on the batches and making sure nothing is sitting around for too long. The floor is usually covered in some kind of material or scraps while we're in the middle of a run. We don't have a lot of people sitting at desks; most of us are on our feet moving things from one side of the building to the other using the hand carts. Sometimes the gate gets stuck or we have to wait on a delivery that’s running late, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. The building itself has seen better days, maybe needs a fresh coat of paint on the outside, but it holds everything we need to function. We just focus on getting the product out the door on time. It’s a practical setup for a practical kind of business. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea stall down the street knows exactly what we want when we walk in.
