Aim Plast is tucked away in Diamond Park, specifically at Plot No. 986-19-2 inside the Gidc Ind. Estate. Running a plastic shop is a different kind of heat compared to the metal shops around here. You get used to the smell of the raw materials and the constant humming of the injection machines. We spend most of our time watching the cycles and making sure everything is coming out right. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. We wear old clothes that we don’t mind getting dirty. The space is a bit tight with all the bags of granules stacked up, but we make it work. Sometimes we stay late into the night just to finish a batch because once the machines are hot, you don't want to turn them off. We don't have a marketing team or a website that looks professional. Most of our work comes from people who know someone who knows us. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and the rhythms of the estate are familiar. The trucks coming in and out, the guys shouting over the noise, and the dust that never seems to go away. It’s just how it is. We do our work, keep the machines running, and go home to our families when the day is done. No extra drama involved in our day-to-day lives.
