Aakar

Over at Plot No. 331-a2-8 in the Gidc Ind. Estate, you’ll find us at Aakar. It’s a bit of a maze back here with all the different plots and units, but we like being part of the industrial estate. There’s a certain energy to it when everyone starts work in the morning. We do a lot of fabrication and shaping work, which is why we picked the name. The workshop is full of heavy machinery that’s seen a lot of use over the years. It’s oily and loud, and there’s usually metal shavings on the floor by noon. We don’t have a professional cleaning crew or a lobby with plants. We just have a workspace that works. We take on all sorts of jobs, some big and some small, and we don’t really turn people away if it’s something we can handle. Most of us have been working with our hands since we were kids, so this kind of labor feels natural. We don't bother with fancy titles or corporate meetings. If something needs to be fixed, we grab a wrench and fix it. The Gidc is a tough place to work sometimes because of the dust and the noise, but it’s where the real work happens. We like the stuff we build here at Plot 331-a2-8. It might not look like much from the outside, but we put in the hours and we do it right. That's really all there is to it.
