We are located at 40/A in Channi Naka, right in the Kirtikar Market area. Most people know us because we are quite close to the Deep Multiplex, which is a big landmark around here. We deal with all kinds of stone. It’s heavy, dirty work, and our hands are usually covered in dust by the end of the shift. We’ve got stacks of different slabs sitting around the yard. People come by when they are building a house or fixing up a kitchen. They walk through the rows and pick out what they like. We don't have a showroom with air conditioning or anything fancy like that. You just see the stone as it is, out in the open. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We learned about stone from our fathers. The market is always loud with people shouting and horns honking, but we like the energy. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking near our gate, so customers have to squeeze in where they can. We do the cutting and the finishing right here on site. You can hear the saws running most of the morning. It’s not a quiet job, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a rough block turn into something useful. We just stay focused on the orders we have for the week and try to get them delivered on time. It is a long day usually, but we are used to it by now.
