Kalpesh Marble

Kalpesh Marble is located at 17 Fatepura on the Halol Road. We are part of the Harni Mahalaxmi Complex, right across from the Harni water tank. It’s a very easy landmark to spot from the main road. The yard is usually full of big slabs of marble and granite leaned up against each other. There is always a lot of white dust everywhere from when the stones get cut or moved around. If you walk into the office, you’ll probably find a layer of that dust on the chairs and the desk too. We spend our days showing people the different patterns in the stone and talking about sizes. The Halol Road is always busy with trucks heading out of the city, so it’s never really quiet here. We have a small crew that helps with the heavy lifting because those slabs are no joke. In the summer, the sun hits the stones and makes the whole yard feel like an oven. We usually keep a big jug of cold water near the door for anyone who needs it. The Mahalaxmi Complex has a few other shops, but we take up a good bit of the space with all our stock. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a showroom with fancy lighting. You just see the stone as it is, sitting there under the sun.
