Kalanjali Arts & Crafts

Kalanjali Arts & Crafts is situated in the Center Square Mall, specifically at S/4 in the Alkapuri Shrimali Society area. We are on the ground floor, right across from the Vadodara Central Mall. Being in a mall means we have to keep certain hours, but we like the atmosphere here. There’s always music playing in the hallways and people walking by. Our shop is filled with all sorts of items we’ve collected and put on display. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes because we like to have a lot of variety for people to look at. We aren't decorators or big-time retailers; we just like crafts and wanted a place to show them. Sometimes the glass windows get fingerprints on them and we have to wipe them down constantly. We don't have a corporate script or anything. When someone comes in, we just talk to them like normal people. It’s a nice way to spend the day, surrounded by interesting things. The mall gets really busy on the weekends, which can be a bit tiring, but we manage. We’ve been here since the mall was relatively new and we’ve seen shops come and go. We just try to keep our corner looking decent and make sure we’re here when people need a gift or something for their home.
