We are located at 37 Ashutosh Society, right behind the Utkarsh Petrol Pump in the Karelibuag area. It’s more of a residential-style setup than a big factory, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed. We work with wax and wicks all day long. When the weather gets hot in Vadodara, the wax can be tricky to handle, so we have to time our pouring quite carefully. The smell of melting wax is something you get used to after a week or so. We don't have fancy machines doing everything; a lot of the work is done by hand on long tables we’ve set up. We spend our mornings checking the molds and our afternoons packing things into boxes. The society is usually quiet, though the petrol pump nearby gets noisy during rush hour. We don’t have a big sales team or a shiny showroom. People usually just call us up or drop by the house if they need to see what we’ve got. Sometimes we run out of a certain color or a batch doesn't set quite right, and we just have to start over. It’s a small, honest business where we do the work ourselves. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the boxes are full and the customers get what they asked for. It takes a lot of patience to get the shapes right every single time.
