Our workshop is over on Road No. 2 in the Sardar Industrial Estate. It’s a busy part of the Ajwa Road area, and there’s always a lot of noise from the other units nearby. We spend most of our time dealing with heaps of cardboard and the cutting machines. It’s a dusty job, and the warehouse can get pretty cramped when we have a big order waiting to go out. We’ve been at E/42 for quite some time now. Most of what we do is just making sure the boxes are the right size and the glue holds up like it’s supposed to. It isn't glamorous work, but someone has to make the packaging everyone else needs. Sometimes the machines act up or the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic on Ajwa Road, which throws off our whole schedule for the day. We just deal with it and keep going. The office is just a small desk tucked in the corner because most of the action happens on the floor. We don't have a sales team or anything fancy, just a few of us who know how to run the equipment. If you come by the estate, you’ll see the stacks of brown sheets piled up by the door. It’s just a regular factory doing regular work. We try to get things out on time and keep the floor as organized as we can.
