Geeta Minerals is over in Manjaipur, at B 175. Our place is basically a storage and office combo. We deal with various types of minerals, so things can get a bit dusty if we aren't careful. We spend a lot of time weighing bags and checking the quality of what comes in. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving sacks around and making sure they are stored in a dry place. The office part is just a small corner with a computer and a lot of logbooks. We’ve been in Manjaipur for quite a while now. The street outside is usually quiet, except for when the trucks come to pick up or drop off a load. We have a regular schedule that we try to stick to. Most mornings we check the inventory and see what needs to go out that day. It isn't a flashy business. We just deal in raw materials that other people use for their projects. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and we have to cover everything up quickly. We have a small team here. We know the routine and we just get on with it. There’s a certain rhythm to the work that feels good once you get into it. We aren't trying to be the biggest operation, just a steady one. B 175 is home base and it’s served us well enough over the years. We keep the paperwork in order and make sure the bags are loaded properly for the customers.
