Gee Associates

Gee Associates is tucked away in Keval Apartments in the Subhanpura area. It’s more of a residential neighborhood than a business hub, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than working in a big commercial tower. We occupy unit seven on one of the lower floors. Most of our neighbors are families, so we try to keep the noise down when we are moving equipment or having visitors. The stairs are a bit narrow, but there is a lift if you’re carrying something heavy. Inside, the space is divided into a few small rooms where we keep our computers and drafting tables. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. We’ve got a small balcony where we keep a few plants, though they don't always survive the summer heat. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working through spreadsheets. We don't have a big corporate sign out front, just a small nameplate next to the bell. Sometimes the postman gets confused because we are in a residential block, but we usually catch him at the gate. It’s a good spot because it’s easy for us to get to and there’s a nice park just down the street for a walk. We’ve been here for several years now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the apartment block. We share a tea kettle and take turns making rounds for everyone.
