G. T. Tiles & Marbles Industries

We are located over at Plot No-105 in the Gangotri Chambers. If you know the Chani Jakat Naka area, you probably know where that is. It’s a busy spot with lots of traffic. We deal with tiles and marbles, which means our space is usually crowded with heavy crates and slabs of stone. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights and coffee machines. It’s more of a working yard where things get moved around by hand or with a small crane. We spend a lot of time showing people different patterns and explaining why one stone might be better for a floor than another. The marble can be quite heavy and fragile, so we have to be careful when moving it. We’ve had our fair share of broken pieces over the years, that’s just the nature of the business. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors or families who are trying to pick something for their new kitchen or bathroom. It’s a lot of dusty work, and the sound of the stone cutters is almost always going in the background. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just like being part of the local building scene. If you stop by, you'll likely find us in our work clothes, probably moving some granite or checking an order that just arrived. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until late in the evening.
