Eagle Plastic Industries

Our place is at Plot No. 68 in the Gidc Industrial Estate. If you know where the fire station is in Makarpura, we are right behind it. Being in an industrial area means there is always noise and trucks moving around, but it suits us. We make plastic items here. We have some injection molding machines that run most of the day. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going. We started this because we knew how to work the machines and saw a need for local supply. There isn't much to see if you walk in, just stacks of crates and bags of raw plastic beads. We spend most of our time checking the molds and making sure the cycles are running right. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half a day covered in oil trying to get it back up. That’s just part of the business. We don't have a big office or a receptionist. Usually, one of us will just wipe their hands on a rag and come talk to you if you drop by. We’ve been in Makarpura for a while now and know most of the neighbors. We just try to get the orders out on time so the next person in the chain can do their job. It’s straightforward work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. There is no corporate polish here, just a lot of plastic and hard work.
