Doli Barat

Doli Barat is over here in Gayatri Park on Ajwa Road. We’re at E/8, tucked away right behind Sayaji Park. If you're from Vadodara, you probably know this side of town quite well. We mostly deal with the traditional side of wedding celebrations. When there's a marriage happening, there are a lot of moving parts, especially when it comes to the procession and the doli. That's where we come in and help out. We’ve been doing this for a while, helping families get through those big days without too much extra stress. It’s not a corporate gig for us; it’s more of a family-run feel. We know how important these traditions are to people around here. We have our own way of doing things, maybe not the most modern way, but it is reliable. We spend a lot of time cleaning and maintaining the equipment so it looks decent when it's finally needed. The office is usually busy with people coming in to talk about specific dates and prices. We don't have a fancy website or any of that. Most people just drop by because they saw us at a neighbor's wedding and liked what we did. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy throughout the entire year. Vadodara is a place where people remember if you did a good job or not. We just try to be the people they remember for the right reasons when the day is over.
