Dinraj Tiles

We set up Dinraj Tiles right across from Amin Ford on Chhani Road. If you know the area, you know it gets quite busy with all the cars and people moving around. Our place isn’t anything too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have rows and rows of tiles stacked up against the walls. Some are heavy and some are smaller, but they all take up a lot of room. We spend a lot of our time moving these boxes around so people can see what’s at the bottom of the pile. It’s hard work on the back, but someone has to do it. The floor is usually covered in a bit of white dust from the ceramics. We don’t have a big sales team or anything. It’s just us here, usually drinking some chai and waiting for the next truck to arrive. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit messy near the entrance, but we just put some cardboard down and keep going. Chhani Road is a good spot for a shop like ours because people are always driving by on their way to work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. We just keep doing what we do, selling tiles and making sure the counts are right when people buy them. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. No big city polish here, just stacks of tiles and honest work.
