Balaji Stone Company

Balaji Stone Company is located right near Dinesh Mill on Akota Road. If you know the area, you know it’s a fairly well-known landmark, so finding us isn’t too difficult. We spend our days surrounded by various types of stone. It’s a noisy business, especially when the cutting is going on or the trucks are pulling in and out. Akota Road stays pretty busy, and we’re right in the thick of it. We don't have a lot of corporate polish here. It’s a place where we wear boots and don't mind getting our clothes dirty. Most of our time is spent talking to people about their projects and showing them what we have in the yard. Sometimes we have a lot of one thing, and other times we’re waiting on a shipment to arrive. It’s just the nature of the stone trade. The office is small and usually has a thin layer of dust on everything no matter how much we clean. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time, and we like being near the mill. It feels like a solid place to do business. We aren't interested in being the biggest company around, just in doing the work right and keeping the yard moving. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down over the road. We just take it day by day.
