We started this group on Rajmahal Road because we wanted to help people get to the Amarnath cave without too much stress. It’s a hard journey, and being at 101 Pujer Complex near Khanderao Market makes it easy for locals to drop in and talk to us. We handle the registrations and the paperwork stuff that usually confuses people. Most of us here have done the trek ourselves, so we know what the weather is like and what clothes you actually need to pack. It isn’t some big corporate travel agency thing, just a bunch of us who care about the Yatra. We sit in our small office in Dayal Bhaus Lane and sort out the transport and the langar details. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the office when the season starts, but we manage. If you’re planning to go, you can just walk in. We don’t have fancy brochures, but we have first-hand experience. People often come by just to ask about the walking sticks or the pony rides. It’s a community thing more than anything else. We try to keep things simple and honest because this trip is important for everyone’s faith. We’ve seen many summers and many groups head out from here. It feels good when people come back and tell us they made it safely. That’s why we keep doing it year after year. We want everyone to have a smooth trip without worrying about the small details.
