You’ll find Alpa Caterers on Siyabaug Main Road, near Khanderao Market. We’re right opposite the Sai Darshan Complex on Rajmahal Road. It’s a very busy part of the city, especially in the mornings when the market is in full swing. There's always a lot of noise and people moving about outside our doors. We’ve been operating from here for quite a long time. Our space is filled with huge pots and burners because we’re usually preparing for big groups. Catering is one of those jobs where you don't really have a set schedule. We might be quiet on a Tuesday and then working thirty-six hours straight over a weekend. That’s just the way it is in this business. We don't have a polished office where we sit in suits. We’re usually in the back, checking on the spices or talking to the suppliers from the market nearby. Being so close to Khanderao Market is actually very helpful for getting fresh stuff. We aren't about fancy presentations or corporate talk. We just know how to cook for a crowd so that the food tastes like it should. Our family has been involved in this for years, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. But the way we cook hasn't changed much because the old ways still work the best. We’re just here on the main road, doing what we know how to do every day.
