Acrart Enterprise

Our little place, Acrart Enterprise, is located at C-2/105 in Amodar Lohar Chawl. Being in a chawl means we are right in the middle of everything that happens in the neighborhood. There’s always kids playing out front and neighbors chatting while we work on our projects. We focus on small-scale production and local repairs, mostly working with our hands and basic machinery. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of equipment packed into a very small area, but we’ve organized it so we know exactly where every screwdriver, nut, and bolt is kept. It gets incredibly hot in the summer months, so we keep the old ceiling fans running all day long just to stay cool. Most of the folks around here know us as the people who can fix just about anything if you give us enough time to look at it. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy storefront with glass windows. Our reputation comes from the work we’ve done for people right here in the Amodar area over the years. We take our time with each job because we don't like having to do things twice. It’s a humble setup, but it’s ours and we are proud of it. We usually start very early in the morning before the heat gets too bad and keep going until the sun starts to set over the rooftops. It’s a simple life.
