Vatsalya Hotels & Resorts LLP is located at 2/5 Dholi Mangari, which is in the Shivaji Nagar area of Girwa. We are right here in Udaipur, but away from the very crowded lake spots where all the tourists go. Our place is more of a local corner. We started this because we had the space in Shivaji Nagar and wanted to do something with it. The Rajasthan sun can be tough, so we spend a lot of time keeping the interiors cool. It’s a bit of a climb sometimes getting around Girwa, but the air feels different up here. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the guests have what they need and the floors stay clean. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or the internet is slow, but we get it fixed as fast as we can. We like the pace of life here. Udaipur is a big city now, but our little spot in Dholi Mangari still feels like the old days. People stop by to chat and we know most of the shopkeepers on the main road. It isn’t about being the biggest resort in Rajasthan. We just want to keep the lights on and provide a decent place for people to stay when they are passing through Girwa. It’s hard work but it keeps us busy.
