Trident Hilton

Up here at Haridas Ji Ki Magri, things are usually a bit quieter than the center of Udaipur. Our place, Trident Hilton, sits on this patch of land that has a lot of trees and some nice space to walk around. I’ve been working here for years, and I still like the way the light hits the walls in the afternoon. It’s a big building, but it doesn’t feel too crowded most days. We spend our mornings checking the garden and making sure the breakfast area is ready for whoever is staying with us. It’s not just a job for most of the crew here; we actually live nearby and know the rhythms of the city. If someone asks for a good spot to see the lake, we tell them the truth about which spots are too packed. The rooms are kept tidy, and we try to make sure everything works like it should. Sometimes the phone rings too much or there's a rush at the front desk, but that's just how it goes in a place like this. We don’t go in for big speeches about what we do. We just open the doors, keep the halls clean, and help people find their way around the 313001 area. It’s a decent place to spend your day, whether you’re working here like I am or just staying over for a night or two. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
