Our office is at number 34 in the Shopping Centre, right across from the Indian Oil Depot in Udaipur. It’s a practical location, easy for people to find even if it’s not right on the lakefront. We use this space to manage our hotel and resort projects. It’s a small office with a couple of chairs and a lot of papers everywhere. We are usually busy talking to suppliers or checking on the maintenance of our hills property. Udaipur is famous for its lakes, but the hills around here are just as important to us. We aren't a big chain with hundreds of locations. We just have our few spots and we try to look after them properly. Sometimes we have to go out to the sites early in the morning to beat the heat. The shopping center is a busy place with a lot of other small businesses, so there’s always someone to talk to. We don't use fancy words or try to look like a big corporation. We’re just local people trying to make a living in the hospitality business. It’s hard work, but we like it. We’ve been here for years and we know the rhythms of the city. We just take it day by day and hope for the best. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, but we just keep moving forward with whatever needs to be done on the properties.
