S K Jain & Co is located up on the 3rd floor of the Indraprasth Complex at 77 Delhi Gate. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens now and then especially in the summer. Delhi Gate is always crowded, so getting to the office takes a bit of patience through the traffic. Once you're inside the building, it’s a bit quieter than the busy street below. We have desks piled high with files and blue folders. Being on the third floor gives us a bit of a view of the rooftops around this part of town. We do a lot of professional work, mostly numbers and paperwork for the people who come to see us. It’s a busy environment most of the time. We’ve got a small corner for making tea and coffee when we need a break. The walls are covered in calendars and some old notices we haven't taken down yet. We've been in Indraprasth Complex for a good while. Most people in the building know each other by name. We spend our hours going through documents and answering the phone. It’s a practical space, not decorated much, just enough room for the computers and the filing cabinets. Sometimes the hallway gets a bit dark in the evenings before the main lights come on. We usually stay late to finish up the day's tasks. It’s just the way the work goes here. Delhi Gate is a landmark itself.
