Chandresh Kumar Jagetia & Co

We’ve been running Chandresh Kumar Jagetia & Co for a while now from our office at 73 Ashok Nagar. It’s on Road Number 3, and you have to come up to the first floor to find where we sit. The building is just a normal one, nothing that stands out too much from the street. We spend most of the day surrounded by piles of papers and talking to the people who drop by. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit noisy, especially in the afternoon when everyone is heading home. My desk is usually covered in folders and notes. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a big sign, just a few chairs for visitors to wait in if we are busy. From my window, I can see the people walking along the road. We keep the fans going pretty much all day because it can get quite warm in here. There are some old metal cupboards that have been with us since the beginning. They aren't pretty, but they hold the files just fine. People know where we are because we’ve stayed in this same spot for years. It’s just us doing the daily work without any big show. We don’t do complicated meetings or anything like that. Mostly it is just answering the phone and checking that all the numbers match up. We usually head out once the sun goes down and the street gets quiet. It is a simple life here in Ashok Nagar.
