M S Jhanwar & Associates

Our place, M S Jhanwar & Associates, is at 229 Subhash Nagar, right on College Road. We are directly across from B N College, so there are always students and teachers walking by outside. It makes the street feel quite busy and alive. The office is pretty basic, to be honest. We have been in this building for quite some time now. It has that smell of old paper and ink that you get in places that have been around for years. There are several small rooms, and every single one is packed with cabinets and stacks of documents. Sometimes we struggle to find space for even a new pen. We don't have a big flashy sign out front, just enough for folks to know they found us. The windows look out at the college gates, and things get a bit loud when classes finish for the day. We usually have a small radio playing in the corner just for some background noise. It’s mostly just us sitting at our desks, working through the files that came in that morning. We don’t have any fancy coffee machines here, just a simple kettle for tea. Most of the people who visit us are from right here in Subhash Nagar. We’ve known some of them for years now. It’s a comfortable routine on College Road. We stay until late and then lock the heavy doors. It is just how we do things here.
