You can find my office on the first floor, right above the Agarwal Transport Company in the Riico Ambaji Industrial Area. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of trucks and industrial noise going on all day long. Being above a transport company means there is always someone shouting or a horn honking, but you get used to it after a while. I’ve been working as a CA here for some time now, helping people with their taxes and accounts. My office is full of files and ledgers piled up on the shelves. It’s not the most modern looking place, but it’s where I get the work done. Clients usually come in with a lot of paperwork and we sit down to figure things out. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial area, and we just have to wait for the generator to kick in. I don’t have a big team or a fancy receptionist. It’s mostly just me and a couple of assistants making sure the filings are done on time. The stairs leading up here are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when you walk up. It’s a simple setup in a practical location for the businesses around here. I spend most of my day looking at spreadsheets and answering the phone. It’s steady work, and being in the heart of the industrial area keeps me close to the people who need help with their bookkeeping and tax returns.
