Rakesh Porwal & Associates is located in Emerald Tower, specifically at 332-333 in Ashwini Bazar. Being up in a tower means we have to wait for the lift, but it’s a good spot once you get here. The office is split into a couple of rooms where we handle our daily tasks. We have stacks of files on almost every flat surface, which is just how it is when you’ve been working for a long time. It’s a professional space but it feels lived-in. We have windows that look out over the busy streets of Ashwini Bazar, so we can see the city moving while we stay inside with the paperwork. Most of our day involves meetings or going through long documents that require a lot of attention. It’s not the kind of place where things are always quiet, as there is usually someone talking on the phone or a visitor coming in. We keep a simple routine and don't worry too much about having the latest furniture or decor. The main thing is that we have enough space for our associates to work and for the clients to sit. We’ve spent a lot of years in this building and we know the security guards and the other people in the nearby offices. It’s just our regular workplace where we get through the day's requirements. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the files just take over.
