Working out of the Kaladwas IID Center on RIICO Road Number 1, G1 20, is mostly about the hum of the machines and the smell of raw materials. We deal with polymers, which means our days are filled with bags of plastic granules and the heat from the processing units. It’s an industrial area, so there isn’t much shade, and the trucks are always coming and going. Our space isn't meant for showing off; it's a workspace where we focus on getting the shapes and the textures right. We spend a lot of time checking the gauges and making sure the heat is just right so the plastic doesn't burn. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the afternoon with grease on our hands fixing it. That is just how it goes when you run a small unit in the RIICO area. The roads around here can be rough, but we have been at this location long enough to get used to the bumps. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the items we produce are solid and do what they are supposed to do. Most of our day is spent on the floor, not behind a desk. We eat our lunch while sitting on the crates and talk about what needs to be finished before the evening shift ends. It’s honest work in a busy industrial hub where everyone is just trying to get things made.
