Our place, Newtech Polymer Pvt Ltd, is located over at Ambamata Scheme Charak Marg, house number 36. It’s an okay spot, quite near the old parts of the city but still has its own space. Working with polymers and plastics means there is always something going on in the back. It isn't the cleanest job in the world, and you can usually hear the hum of the machinery if you stand near the entrance. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The building is functional, nothing too special to look at, just bricks and concrete that keep the rain out. Sometimes the traffic on Charak Marg gets a bit backed up, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We have a small group of people working here who know the routine by heart. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or trying to impress people with big talk. Mostly, we just focus on the orders we have and making sure the machines are running like they should. It gets hot in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. People from the nearby colony often pass by and we know most of them by sight. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and we just try to keep things steady and simple every day. No one here is trying to be a big boss; we just do our work and go home.
