Hussain Traders

Hussain Traders has been around Dholi Bavdi for quite a while now. It is a bit of a tight squeeze in the shop sometimes because we have so much stuff piled up on the shelves. You might see boxes in the corner or someone unpacking a delivery right in the middle of the floor when you walk in. That’s just how things are here daily. We deal with all sorts of trading goods, mostly the things people around this neighborhood need for their regular work or home. Most mornings start early with getting the shutters up and sweeping out the dust that blows in from the street. Dholi Bavdi is a busy spot, and there is always noise from the traffic outside. We don’t really have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If someone asks for something specific, we usually have to dig around for a minute to find it. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. We just keep the inventory moving and talk to the regulars who have been coming by for years. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the cars go by, and other days everyone shows up at once. We just try to keep things organized enough so we can get through the day without losing anything. It is a simple way to make a living, and we like being part of the local community here.
