Lucky Plastics

You can find Lucky Plastics over at Delhi Gate Teej Ka Chowk, right at Dehligate 22. It is a small shop, but we pack a lot of stuff into it. We’ve got plastic buckets, tubs, and all kinds of household containers hanging from the ceiling and stacked out front. Sometimes it’s hard to even walk through the aisle because there is so much inventory in the way. The colors are bright—reds, blues, and yellows everywhere you look. Being near Delhi Gate means there are always shoppers walking by, looking for something cheap and useful for their kitchens or bathrooms. We don't have air conditioning, so in the summer it gets pretty warm inside with all that plastic around. I usually sit near the front so I can see people coming in from the street. We talk to everyone, from housewives looking for a sieve to shopkeepers needing a large drum. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just how Teej Ka Chowk is. We don't have a computer system for our stock; we just know where everything is because we put it there ourselves. It’s a lot of lifting and moving heavy boxes, and by the end of the day, my back usually aches a bit. But it’s good to be part of the market here. We just keep things simple, selling what people need for their daily lives without making a big fuss.
