Our office is right across from the court at 16 Court Chauraha. It’s a very handy spot given what we do. Mehta Nahar Sharma & Co has been here for years, and we’ve seen plenty of people come and go from that court building. Our place is pretty straightforward. We have a few rooms filled with desks and a lot of paperwork. Because we are so close to the action, it gets quite busy. People are always dropping in with something that needs looking at. We don't have a big fancy sign or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from whatever we are reading. It's an old-school kind of place. We use a lot of paper and the printers are always running. The noise from the traffic at the Chauraha is just background music to us now. We take our work seriously, but we don't act like we are better than anyone. It’s just honest work. Sometimes we sit and talk about the cases or the news over some chai. It’s a small team and we’ve worked together for a long time. There isn't much drama here, just the steady hum of getting things done. We like the location because it keeps us in the middle of things. You just cross the road and you are right there at the main gates. It makes the day go by fast.
