Lal Bagh Hotels & Restaurants is situated right at Udaipole Sardarpura, on MG College Road 65. It’s a busy corner of the world to be in. Between the travelers coming through Udaipole and the students from the college, there’s always something happening outside our door. Running a hotel and a restaurant at the same time means there’s never a quiet moment. If it’s not a guest checking in early, it’s someone in the dining room complaining that their tea isn’t hot enough. We don't have a polished corporate look. The building has its quirks, like the occasional leaky tap or a door that squeaks, but we fix things as they come up. Our staff is just a few local guys who work hard and don't say much. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just a place to stay and a place to eat. The kitchen is always a bit chaotic during the dinner hour, with pots banging and people shouting orders. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place organized. It’s not easy keeping up with the laundry for the rooms and the dishes for the restaurant all at once. We don't have any big philosophy about service. We just try to get the orders right and keep the rooms tidy. It’s a lot of long hours and repetitive tasks, but that’s the reality of running a business in this part of town.
