Kaleido Multi Cuisine Cafe

Our cafe is located over on Sajjangarh Road in the Malla Talai area of Udaipur. We’re pretty close to the Biological Park, so we get people walking over after they’ve been looking at the animals. Kaleido Multi Cuisine Cafe isn't one of those big tourist traps you see in the center of the city. We keep things a bit more relaxed here. I started this place because I like food and I wanted to have a spot where people could just sit down for a bit. The 313001 neighborhood is decent, and we have a lot of regulars who live nearby. It’s a mix of different types of food because that’s what people around here seem to like. We don't have a professional decorator; we just put up things that we liked on the walls. The kitchen is small but we make it work. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the blender is going and the music is playing, but it feels alive. We spend a lot of time cleaning the windows because of the dust from the road. It’s just me and a couple of others working here. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in Rajasthan, just a good spot for a snack or a meal. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. It’s a simple life running a cafe near the park, and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces every day.
