Hotel Yatri

You can find us at Hotel Yatri on the Udaipole City Station Road in Udaipur. We are very close to the bus stand, which is a major hub for anyone coming into the city. It’s a pretty busy and loud area most of the time. The road is always filled with rickshaws and people carrying luggage. We have been running this place for a while now, and it’s a simple operation. We don’t have a lot of the fancy things you might see in the big hotels by the lakes. It’s just a plain building where we keep the rooms clean and the water running. Most of the people who stay with us are travelers who just need a bed for the night after a long bus ride or before they catch a train. Udaipur gets very hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working and that there is cool water available. The neighborhood isn't the prettiest part of town, but it is very practical. You can find anything you need just by walking down the street, from a quick meal to a new pair of sandals. We are just a small team of local people, and we know the area well. We don't have a big corporate office or anything, just a desk where we sit and wait for guests. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living in a city that is always on the move.
