Hotel Vinayak

We’ve been at 39/40 Lake Palace Road for quite a long time now. The building is one of those older ones in the Kalaji Goraji area, and it has its own quirks. It’s usually just a few of us running things day to day. We don't have a big corporate team or anyone doing fancy marketing for us. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from someone else. The street outside can get pretty noisy with all the tourists and local traffic, but that is just part of being in this part of Udaipur. Our rooms are pretty basic. We have the usual stuff like beds and a place to sit, but don't expect any gold-plated fixtures or anything like that. My cousin handles a lot of the check-ins and I usually take care of the maintenance and the bills. We try to keep the place tidy, though the old floors can be a bit of a challenge to scrub sometimes. There is a tea shop nearby where we get our morning chai, and we often tell our guests to go there too. We don't have a big dining hall. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because it's easier to manage. If you’re looking for a simple place to stay while you visit the palaces, we are here at 313001.
