Hotel Palak Palace

Hotel Palak Palace is where we spend all our time. We are situated at Udaipur Shastri Circle, right at the Aklink Pura Chouraha. Being near Gitanjali Hospital means there is always something going on nearby. The 313001 area is quite active. We see a lot of people coming in who are visiting the hospital or just passing through the circle. It’s a local kind of place. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big lobby with marble everywhere. It is just a plain building where we work hard. I usually start my shift by checking the water levels and making sure the kitchen has what it needs for tea. The Chouraha outside can get noisy with all the rickshaws and cars, especially in the afternoons. We have a few rooms and they are kept as tidy as we can manage. My brother helps me with the maintenance and my cousin handles the paperwork. We grew up around here so we know everyone in the neighborhood. It is a practical spot for people who need to be close to the hospital. We don’t put out big ads or anything like that. People just find us or hear about us from someone else. It is a lot of routine, day in and day out. We just try to stay honest and keep the place running. It is not always easy but it is what we do to get by in Udaipur.
