Hotel Meera

We are over at 6 Sardarpura Main Road, right across from MG College in Udaipur. Being opposite a college means there is always something going on outside. Students are walking around, and the tea stalls nearby are usually full. Hotel Meera has been here for a while now. The zip code is 313001. We mostly deal with people coming into town for work or visiting family. It isn’t a resort or anything like that. It’s just a place to stay. The rooms have beds and chairs, and we try to keep things tidy. Sometimes the street noise gets a bit loud in the afternoons when classes let out. We have a front desk that is usually staffed, though sometimes we are in the back checking on the laundry. The hallways are a bit narrow, and the paint is a little faded in some spots, but it doesn't bother most folks. We have a few windows that look out over the main road. If you stay in one of the back rooms, it's a bit quieter. We don't have a big lobby with fancy sofas. There are just a few plastic chairs for waiting. It’s a straightforward setup. Most of our guests find us because they know the area or saw the sign while driving down Sardarpura Main Road. We just keep doing what we do every day. It is a simple job but it keeps us busy and we like the people we meet.
