Gorbandh Hotel Private Limited is based right over by the City Palace in Udaipur. If you have ever been to this part of Rajasthan, you know how crowded the streets can get around the palace area. Our office is right in the thick of it. It can be a bit of a headache to navigate the narrow lanes when the tourists are out in full force, but it is also where all the action is. We have been at this address for a while, and the old stone buildings around us have so much history you can almost feel it in the walls. Our space is simple and functional. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor; we are usually too busy keeping track of the hotel operations. The sounds of the city, like the rickshaws honking and people talking, come right through the windows most mornings. It gets quite dusty sometimes, and we are constantly wiping down the desks, but that is just part of being in the heart of Udaipur. We know the neighbors well, and there is a sense of community even with all the coming and going. Living and working so close to the City Palace means we see the best and the most chaotic parts of the city every single day. It is just a regular local business run by people who grew up around these same streets.
