Gajkesari Hotels is based right here in Udaipur at 28-A, Haridas Ji Ki Magri. We’ve been around Ambamata for a while now. Most days it’s just us trying to keep things running smooth. The office is usually a bit busy with people coming in and out. Udaipur gets quite crowded during the tourist season, especially around Haridas Ji Ki Magri. You can see the hills from nearby. We handle all the hotel stuff from this spot. It isn’t a fancy corporate office, just a place where we sit and work. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but that’s just how it is here. We mostly deal with the day-to-day chores of keeping a hotel business afloat. It takes a lot of time to manage staff and keep the rooms ready for whoever shows up. The neighbors know us well. We’ve seen the area change over the years. Some new buildings went up recently, but the old charm of Ambamata stays the same. We drink a lot of chai while looking at the booking charts. It’s hard work but it keeps us busy. We don’t have any big speeches to make. We just show up every morning, open the doors, and get to it. Sometimes we stay late when there are issues with the plumbing or guests have specific needs. It’s just life in the hospitality business in Rajasthan. Nothing more, nothing less.
