Charu - Chitra

We are located right behind the Ambamata Temple. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time unless there’s a festival going on nearby. Being at 539 Ambamata Scheme means we get a lot of people passing by on their way to pray. Charu - Chitra has been operating from this spot for a bit. It’s a small setup. We don't have a big sign or anything, just a regular door that stays open during the day. Mostly we just handle our daily tasks and talk to the people who walk in looking for things. The temple bells are a nice background sound throughout the day. We do our work, keep our heads down, and try to stay on top of the orders. Sometimes the directions are confusing for people who aren't from around here, so we just tell them to look for the big temple first and then walk around the back. The space is a bit tight with all the stuff we have, but we make it work. It’s mostly just us here. Nothing fancy about the interior, just some old desks and our supplies. We like being in this part of town because it feels like a real community. We’ve known most of the other shopkeepers around here for years. It is just a normal day-to-day business for us. We drink our tea, talk to customers, and close up when the sun goes down.
