Pramodini Bakshi

You can find Pramodini Bakshi right near the Clock Tower. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so we don’t have to give long directions. Being near the tower means there is always a crowd and plenty of activity. It’s the heart of the area, really. The building we are in is older, it has some character and maybe a few creaky floors, but it works for us. We don’t need anything too modern. There is a lot of history in this part of town, and we feel like a small part of that. People walk by all day long. Some stop in to say hello, others are just passing through to the market. We’ve been set up here for a good while. It's not a formal place. You might find us having tea or chatting with a neighbor when things are slow. We do our work at a steady pace. No one is rushing around trying to meet corporate targets here. We just want to do a decent job for the people who seek us out. The view of the tower is nice, especially in the evenings when the lights come on. It reminds us why we like being in this specific spot. It’s a bit noisy with the bells and the traffic, but you get used to it after a week. It’s just part of the daily life for us at Clock Tower. We hope to stay here for many more years to come, just being part of the noise and the history.
