Arik Hotels & Resorts LLP

Arik Hotels & Resorts is based out of the Idea Apartment, specifically at number 13. This is in the New Fatehpura area of Udaipur. It is a busy part of the city, not too far from the lakes but away from the heaviest crowds. We started this LLP to manage a few properties we have an interest in. It is a small operation. You will not find a big lobby or a concierge here; it is mostly where we do the behind-the-scenes work. We spend a lot of time on our laptops or on the phone. The apartment is older but it serves us well. We have got some desks pushed together and a lot of paper files. New Fatehpura has a lot of trees and it is a decent place to walk around when we need a break from the screens. We manage the day-to-day things like booking issues, maintenance requests for the hotels, and paying the bills. It is not glamorous work, but someone has to do it. We do not use any fancy corporate talk. We just say what we mean. If a room is not ready, we tell it like it is. We have been in the hospitality thing for a while now, and we have learned that being honest with people is the only way to keep things going. Just a local team working out of an apartment, trying to keep the wheels turning for everyone we work with.
