Prathibhanikeyhana Vidya Mandira

We are located out on the Main Road in Irakasandra Colony. It’s a part of Tumkur that still feels a bit more like a village than a big town sometimes. Prathibhanikeyhana Vidya Mandira is the name painted on the gate out front. It’s a bit of a long name for people to say, so most of the locals just know us by the location near the colony. The school is right there in Irkasandra, and it’s been a staple for the families living around here for a good while now. We don't have the big city facilities. We have basic classrooms, a small dirt ground for the kids to run around on during their break, and some old trees that provide a bit of shade when the sun is out. The building has been repainted a few times over the years, but the sun is very strong here, so the colors fade pretty fast. You can often hear the goats and the cows from the nearby houses during the school day. It’s a very grounded and simple kind of place. We don't have a big front office with people sitting in suits. Usually, it's just a couple of us handling the paperwork while also making sure the classes are going okay. Parents often come by to talk about their kids, and we usually just sit on the stone benches outside if the weather is nice. It’s all about teaching the basics and making sure the kids grow up to be decent people. We’ve stayed small on purpose. It’s just a normal school for a normal neighborhood.
