Our company has a long name, Tniamp Ii Lower Coleroon Veeranam Delta Farmer Producer Company Limited, but we’re just a group of delta farmers at the end of the day. You can find us at No.98/3 on South Street in Thavarthampattu Village. We’re part of the Themmur Post area. Working in the Lower Coleroon and Veeranam region means our lives are tied to the water levels and the delta cycles. South Street is a busy little place, and our office is right in the middle of it. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters, just a place where we can sit down and figure out our farming plans. We spend a lot of time discussing the irrigation and how to make sure everyone in the village gets what they need. We aren't trying to sell anyone anything; we just want to make sure our families and neighbors can keep farming without losing everything to the big markets. The village life is quiet most of the time, but there is always something to do on the farm. We meet at No.98/3 to share ideas and help each other out with equipment or supplies.
