Chengam Thorapadi Mahasakthi Farmerproducer Company Limited

Our company is based in Thorapadi Village, which is in the Chengam Taluk. You can find us at No.167 on Nadu Street. It is a central spot in the village where people always seem to be passing by. We chose the name Mahasakthi because it felt right for a group of farmers working together. Most of us have lived in Tiruvannamalai our whole lives. We are used to the sight of the mountains and the rhythm of the farming seasons. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It is just a place with some chairs and a few cupboards for our records. We don't have fancy computers or air conditioning. We spend most of our time out in the fields anyway. Being a producer company means we can help each other with things like getting fertilizer or finding a truck for the harvest. Nadu Street is quite narrow, and it can get crowded when there is a festival or a market. We are all neighbors here, so we know each other's problems. We don't have any marketing slogans. We just want to make sure that the hard work we put into the soil pays off. Sometimes the rain is good, and sometimes it isn't, but we keep going. If you come to Thorapadi, just look for the company sign on Nadu Street. We’ll probably be around somewhere.
